The annual International Armoured Vehicles Conference (IAVC) has earned a reputation as the world’s premier international meeting ground for all elements of the armoured community. IAVC has established itself among the world’s Armies, Marine Corps, procurement officials, and industry representatives as the unbiased quality forum to focus solely upon land vehicles and force protection.
Since the first conference in 2001, we’ve seen the rapid evolution of land power doctrine and technology. From an extended period of counterinsurgency through to recent refocusing on large scale combat operations. This journey has been marked by technology innovation from C-IED and MRAP designs through to C-UAS, digitization and integration into multi-domain operations.
Over the years the conference has helped contribute to the debate around many timely subjects; charting trends in armoured vehicles, from the rise in demand for wheeled vehicles to the return of heavy armour, from the drive towards hybrid-electric drive to novel uses of advanced manufacturing in expeditionary settings, from the strategic to the specialist we aim to provide a forum rich in content for all involved in the armoured vehicle ecosystem.
